Running Rehab in North Sydney
Most running injuries don't need total rest. They need a smarter approach to load and a proper strength foundation.
We work with recreational joggers through to competitive runners. If you've been dealing with a recurring injury or you've been told to just stop running, we can help you build a plan that keeps you as active as possible while addressing the underlying issue.
We understand running
Running injuries are our bread and butter. We see hundreds of runners each year across all distances and experience levels. Our approach combines a thorough clinical assessment with evidence-based strength and load management, addressing the specific weak points that contribute to running injuries: calf capacity, lateral hip strength, quad loading.
Conditions we commonly assess:
Achilles tendinopathy
Patellofemoral pain (runner's knee)
IT band syndrome
Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
Shin splints and bone stress reactions
Hamstring tendinopathy
Hip and glute pain
Posterior tibial tendon issues Individual results vary. All presentations are assessed on their own merits.
Our approach
1. Assessment — Full running and injury history, movement assessment, contributing factors identified.
2. Load management — Keep you training while the injury settles, rather than shutting everything down.
3. Strength work — Build the specific capacity running demands: calf, glute, quad, progressively and safely.
4. Return to full training — Clear milestones so you know where you are in the process.
